What is the process for designing and building an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit)?
Our ADU process starts with a feasibility assessment of your lot size, zoning restrictions, and utility capacity, followed by architectural design and structural engineering tailored to your property. Once the design is finalized, we handle the full permitting submission with your city or county on your behalf. Construction then proceeds through foundation, framing, mechanical/electrical/plumbing rough-in, and finishes, ending with final inspection and occupancy sign-off. ON Design & Remodeling holds an active California General Contractor License (CSLB #1080660), which includes the contractor’s bond required by the Contractors State License Board, and we carry full liability insurance for every project we undertake.
